These terms govern your use of the AHJ Travel Tribe trip planner (the "Service"), provided by Ahj Travel Tribe LLC ("we", "us"). When you use the Service you are contracting with Ahj Travel Tribe LLC. By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms.

The Service

The Service is an online tool for planning group trips: creating trips and daily itineraries, tracking travelers, costs, payments and balances, checklists and notes, sharing trips with other people, and exporting itineraries and backups. We do not book travel or process payments between travelers; amounts you record are for your own tracking.

Your account

• You must be of legal age to form a binding contract, or have authority to bind the organization you use the Service for.
• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service, including by:

• using it for unlawful purposes, fraud or spam;
• infringing anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
• interfering with its security, including uploading malware, probing or scanning for vulnerabilities, or scraping;
• reverse engineering, reselling or redistributing the Service, or getting around its technical limits.

Your content

You keep ownership of the trip information you add. You give us a limited licence to host and process it only to provide the Service to you and the people you share trips with. Only add personal details of other travelers when you have their permission.

Intellectual property

Ahj Travel Tribe LLC owns the Service and all related intellectual property, including the software, design, documentation and branding. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under your plan.

Subscriptions, payments and our reseller

Planning trips requires a paid subscription, which starts with a 3-day free trial and then renews monthly until cancelled. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, renewal, cancellation and refund terms are set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms. See also our Refund Policy.

The planning subscription costs $14.99 USD per month, including applicable taxes. Trips with more than 10 people, including the organizer, require an additional one-time $9.99 payment per trip. This is not a monthly charge or a charge per additional person. The group unlock does not replace the planning subscription.

When you cancel, nothing stops mid-month. Here's how access winds down:

• you keep full planning access until the month you've already paid for runs out;
• your trips then stay open in a view-only state for one extra month, so you can still read them and export them;
• once that extra month ends, your own trips are no longer available to you unless you subscribe again.

Trips other people have shared with you stay free to view at any time, with or without a subscription.

Availability

We work to keep the Service running well, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is", without implied warranties such as merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses, including lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

You agree to cover claims against us that arise from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, don't pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously break our policies. You can stop using the Service at any time. After access ends, you can export your trips during any remaining view-only period; after that we may delete your data.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New York, where Ahj Travel Tribe LLC is registered, and disputes will be handled by the courts there. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we may transfer ours in connection with a merger or acquisition. We're not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. We may update these terms and will post the new version here.
